children
Children are an important and special part of our congregation.
We offer multiple ways for children to come to know how much God loves them! Check some of these out below.
Children During Worship
We love to have children in worship; their wiggles and noises are welcome and often evoke a smile or helpful hands from the congregation. We are most fully the people of God when we are gathered for worship, service, learning, and fellowship together with all ages. During our 10:30 a.m. worship, children are invited to pick up a worship bag from our Sensory Library with activities designed to engage their hearts and minds during the service.
Our nursery is available each Sunday for our youngest children, from birth through age 5. Open from 10:00–11:45 a.m., our nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children are cared for by our loving, trained, and background-checked nursery staff. Through play, stories, and gentle care, our youngest disciples begin to experience God’s love while parents enjoy worship with peace of mind.
Prayground is Sunday school with a twist! Following the Time with Young Disciples, children ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate faith experience. Each week, children explore a Bible story through prayer, conversation, and a hands-on craft that connects God’s Word to everyday life.
Using the PC(USA) Growing in Grace & Gratitude curriculum, Prayground helps children discover what it means to follow Jesus with joy, kindness, and compassion. Children return to the sanctuary following the sermon to rejoin their families for the remainder of worship.
Family Special Events
Throughout the year, Faithbridge offers fun, meaningful events that bring children and families together in faith and fellowship. From our joyful Easter Egg Hunt and beloved Children’s Christmas Pageant to Children’s Sunday and Parents’ Night Out, there’s always something to celebrate, explore, and enjoy together. We hope you’ll join us!
